Intuit QuickBooks
Intuit was ready to fully commit to their small-business customers by launching a payments hardware line and a banking solution. These devices and debit cards would be some of the first physical touchpoints of the digital-first brand.
To support this launch, we collaborated with the Intuit team to create a beautiful bank card that embodies the attributes of the brand and a modern scalable packaging system. All design decisions were centered around customer and merchant experiences, and supporting the evolving needs of small-business owners.

Through visual hierarchy, the card’s design celebrates the Small Business paired with the QuickBooks brand, and introduced a recognizable gradient foil print to signify the Brand and interaction zones of the product in the physical world.
Early on in the process, we aligned on a strategy of offering standalone products and a bundle. Leveraging outer sleeves for all product photography and copy offered a system that can easily adapt to different markets and languages, leaving the core packaging boxes to remain pure vessels to protect and celebrate the hero products.
The design focuses on beautiful, photorealistic renderings on the front and dynamic storytelling-inspired photography on the rear.
This cohesive packaging design system helps clearly articulate the quality of design and the core value propositions of the products, ultimately delivering a powerful point-of-sale solution delightfully designed to seamlessly integrate software and hardware, expanding QuickBooks’ position as a partner to and source of truth for millions of small businesses.
